Mike has a good point.
A really good point.

I too have been in Ken's spot. I too have let my computer mask my manual skills. For a while I wore 2 computers. They did not even pretend to agree on my safety.

But it is not really a problem for the average diver. If you are smart, you abort at the first sign of trouble. Guys that to hi risk stuff have to be way on top of it, much more that the Wednesday night swimmers.

Lets face it people hate math. Tables, YUCK!
They are bad at it. No arguing that they should do better.
THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF PREACHING THAT WILL HELP.

Wrong, some will help. So please keep on preaching.

Mike is good at tables. He is a bit of a showoff when it comes to this stuff. He is a bit "Brain-Proud" on this level. But what the heck, why not flaunt it.

I am not good at it. It is a skill that I will someday strive for.
For now I got other fish to fry. (Ugh cameras and ankle weights :-)

But Mike, buddy, what is up with people not wanting to publish you.
What went wrong?
Topside media task loading is tough for sure, but you can do it!

Friend we need a non combatant dive report from time to time.
That is an invitation.

Sooner,
-J
