I enjoyed the article and thought that the computer analogy was just one example of 'it won't happen to me today' I don't think risky behavior is only a function of training or common sense. I think it does have a lot to do with mood and what's going on at the time. I know people who will run a red light some days and never consider it as an option on others (no I'm not talking about me Walt). I think it's wishful thinking. More like, please don't let anything happen to me today while I do this one really dumb thing-
