Not a lot of diving right now, so here is a book review.

More than nine lives
Norma and Al Hanson
ISBN-10: 0972699228

I just got done reading "Blue Water Gold Rush" by Tom Kendrick and thought there would be no good follow up to it.

Wrong!

I admit that when I first started it, this book bored me.
The first hundred pages or so have nothing to do about diving.

My wife bought the book for me at the 2003 Scuba show. I got around 70 pages into it and put it down. After reading Toms book I pined for more. So I went back to nine lives. Diving starts on page 117 and does not stop till page 704. Yup that's right 704!

This is a charming biography of a fellow who had some of the wildest experiences under water. The number of fascinating salvages and wild rides is truly amazing.

Every chapter is a new WOW!
I could not put the book down.

The funny thing is that we have all seen Al Hansen. He was the Kirk Douglas stand in in 2000 Leagues under the sea.

A must read for waterheads.
