It was a busy day at OML today. The lot was full by 8:15am and everyone was glad to be there and looking forward to a great day of diving.

Today’s plan was to kick out to the point and just hang around there checking out the flora and fauna. At first we thought we would walk to the point but after the trip down to Cobble Beach, we were hot and needed some salt water relief. Honestly speaking, the kick out to the point is not that bad. I thought it would be a lot worse.

When we all made it to the drop zone Phil gave me a great pointer on where to start. Normally, I start in another area but this time with his great directions, we hit Ted’s Pinnacle with ease.

The visibility was not too bad. There were many particles in the water and it was not as clear as the 120 Reef from our Wednesday dive.

I really missed the rock structures out at the point and it was great to get back there after a few months.
