At 6:30 or so I saw two divers battle the surf, hang out for a bit, turn around, struggle back in. They tried it again 20 or so minutes later, only for a repeat of the previous attempt.

By 7:30 the surf had calmed and it would've been feasible.

No birds madly diving into the water as I've seen before during squid runs.

I stayed dry. :-(
