Thanks for the reports. We metered the north rim of the canyon this evening (Sunday) but didn't see anything on the fishfinder that looks like squid agglomerations -- also no birds, etc. So we continued on to Palos Verdes for a night dive -- good vis, ~55 F, sightings included a triggerfish, torpedo ray, bat ray and swell shark. There was a squid boat with lights blazing a ways offshore from Flat Rock.
