Unless your glass is really high quality, usually costing more than the cam bodies themselves, running higher a PR is just not cost effective. You would sorta of look like a weenie to those otherwise informed. There are exceptions I suppose. I guess if you had an $18k 24.4 mm x 13.7 mm sensored Red Cam you wouldn't have to worry about it. Any still you pull off the motion imaging would still kick some arse. I know a guy in Lewiston ID who shoots professionally for media, print ads and motion picture productions. His 5 MP stuff looks as good as most 12 MP I've seen - even when he up-scales for posters.
