I've made it to the Cortez Banks and my particular trip the lobster were not plentiful.

On a multiday it is unlikely you would spend all 3 days there, so I would definitely recommend going.

It is really interesting being in the middle of nowhere, and jumping over in waters 30-40 feet deep, really great visibility.

I think a large safety sausage is a must here, as is a signaling mirror. Keep in mind that often times weather turns boats back and they do local islands instead.
