I'm flying to SEATAC from LAX on THURS with 4 Anton Bauer
Dionic 90s and split charger as checked luggage. They will be
in their own transport hard shell case with various composite
and SDI cables cables for ext monitoring.

I checked this afternoon with TSA's LAX "Information Officer"
(Lucy or Lupe ?) and was told I should not have a problem as
long as the cells are inside a case "that (is) specifically
designed to keep the battery contacts separate from others"
and "if (I) want to make sure there won't be a problem put some
strips of black tape across the contacts and place them in
separate plastic bags before putting them into the case". The
case we use is made by Sony and is designed to carry bateries
in their own hard plastic cut-outs. I also have the cap ends for the contact side of the cells, so I'll use them before
using black tape, before placing them into the case.
