For a change of pace we dived on the F. S. Loop in search of nudibranchs. We found ten species today, although I only got clear pictures of eight.
The wind was howling when we went out, so we turned around as we approached Marineland. We headed back to L. A. Harbor, but the wind died as we neard the Loop, so Captain Marc decided to make a dive. Nudis were everywhere! The vis was poor, as it usually is here, but good enough to see my little buddies.
We then headed around the Peninsula again, this time to Marc's "secret" lobster spot. The sea lions learned the secret, and were all over me. The bottom is littered with dead squid, which brought out the lobsters. Marc ate well again tonight.
