1. If they can't control their nets - they have no right to be putting them in the water.
2. Responsibility for damages caused by abandoned/lost nets.
3. For sure get them out of the San Pedro Channel. Way too dangerous to swimmers, divers, etc. now days.

I realize that the system by which gill netters get their permits is an archaic one and that needs to be looked at just as much as everything else.

This whole issue is so frustrating. And, Hey, how come our photos (Ross, Phil, and Mine) don't look like the "National Geographic" ones. NG must use "Super Photoshop" or Something.
