I think you're refering to another Coral Sea, a planked wood-hulled cattle-fishing boat that had been around for many years. It was well known in San Diego in the 60s and 70s for yellowtail trips to the Coronados. It did move up to CISCOs landing and operated the Channel Islands for a while, too. Glen Miller's Coral Sea was newly built, steel-hulled vessel,launched in the early 70s (I believe), and ultimately ended up in Florida. At least those are the last plans I heard...
