Ken,
Work has kept me dry (except for rain) for the last three weeks. However prior to that, I was seeing more squid activity (egg clusters) at and around the 100+ foot rocks and reefs further north and south in the bay. There were reports of a few scattered eggs at Vets, but to the best of my knowledge the yearly cephalopod orgy in the canyon hadn’t happened. I spoke to a couple of diver on this past Sunday (in the middle of a pretty good downpour) and they reported zero vis at 80-feet and nothing about squid or their prospective offspring.

Basically it comes down to – you gotta go if you wanna know… ;-)

Sorry to not be of more help.

Isn’t it about time for another birthday dive for you? Can we get the same hot females from last year and do it again? Oooooh! Women in dry suits!
