With all due respect, an OOA and/or and AGE is one but of a myriad of problems that a solo diver can face. Sadly, most solo advocates myopicaly fixate on solving that singular issue vis-a-vis an alternative air source to the exclusion of addressing the infinite ancillary problems that could occur. From a strategic, cyber-forum perspective, it's understandable that those that subscribe to a solo mentality would focus the debate to a "potentially" resolvable issue, ie: alternative air source, but the foregoing notwithstanding, what is NEVER addressed by the solo crowd is the "not so resolvable" issues highlighted in my initial post.
