The Pt Lobos reservation calendar is at
http://pt-lobos.parks.state.ca.us/DiveCalendar.htm
The 16th and 17th are full. The 15th and 18th are open You
usually don't need a reservation on weekdays, but be in line before
they open. You make reservations at
https://pt-lobos.parks.state.ca.us/DiveReservations.htm
If you don't have a reservation, be in line before the reserve
opens at 9:00 a.m.

Bring as many tanks as you plan to dive in a day. It's a pain to
run to town for fills.

There are four dive shops in Monterey:

Aquarius on Del Monte: Nitrox, Argon, and Air.
Aquarius II on the Breakwater: Air.
Monterey Bay Dive Center: Trimix (I think), Nitrox, Argon, and Air.
Bamboo Reef: Trimix, Nixtrox, Argon and Air.

I go to Aquarius on Del Monte because I can park with my boat
trailer on.

There's lots of info on Pt. Lobos dive sites at
http://pt-lobos.parks.state.ca.us/Scuba.htm
Be sure to read the rules and regs, most notably: NO C-CARD NO
DIVE, and no hunting or fishing equipment in the reserve, even
locked in your trunk.

Be careful on the launch ramp -- it's REAL slippery if it hasn't
been pressure washed recently.
