Im laughing my tail off. but unfortunately this is true. I was doing some diving up in Plumas county at bucks lake and used a sausage to surface. and yes a boater was curious of the bright orange thing and came a little too close. I also had a dive flag on my boat. at least they noticed it and was looking out. the general public for the most part has no clue what they are. it just grabs there attn. as designed.

I never usto use them when I got started. I don't hit the water without it now.
