I've heard a fair number of reports of challenging vis in the past couple of days -- even an early dose of springtime algae bloom. As for myself I just got back from a night dive in Malibu, where there was a ton of particulate shallow, but a more acceptable 10-15 ft (but milky) out on the reef. Chilly at 54 F. We dropped directly onto a sailboat mast on the bottom in 16 ft of water (a victim of the Santa Anas?). Otherwise saw quite a few lobsters shallow, a lizardfish, big horn shark and a large halibut.
