I didn't dive, but I talked to a guy at King Harbor who did a couple of dives in the Redondo area this morning. He said it was so-so vis and 54 F north of the canyon, and great vis and 52 F south of the canyon. There was a crowd watching surfers north of the breakwall. Malibu (particularly east of Pt. Dume) might be a safer bet due to the swell angle.
