There is no limit on stripped bass at Lake Powell. When I was there last. I think it was against the law to release them. If they were caught. There is a limited amount of food (shad). So the bass do not grow large enough to move on to the next food source, carp. So the stripped bass would stay small and wipe out the food source. So I don't feel bad to stuff my face on stripped bass.

I grew up on Lake Powell before they planted stripped bass there. I also use to operate Hoover Dam. You could spearfish stripped bass there also.
