I wanted to thank all of you who helped with suggestions for our trip to CA. We went to Catalina and appreciated seahunt's suggestion of Gillyweed Girl and Scubadobado's site. It was on the nose; we traveled on the Catalina Express, stayed at the Villa Portofino, dove Casino Point, and really loved our time in Avalon. We come from a small Alaska town, so the small town atmosphere and friendly people was more like home. My wife got the news of three discs needed for replacement, but was happy to get a photo of garabaldi, blue banded gobies, and some big sheephead. Diving in the kelp was fun, we were able to navigate carefully, and we just had a great experience. Thanks to all. I appreciate your help.
