Make sure you use latex gloves when you work with it because it's hell to get off your skin.
Oh yes, and if you are repairing finger ends, one very important step I forgot to mention is to stuff the glove finger with a piece of broom handle (rounded off) to hold the shape while the urethane sets. I wrap masking tape over the wood first so the urethane won't bond to the piece of broom handle.
