Our group made a night dive in Laguna Beach on thur night. Conditions were a little foul, 2-4' surf with 10' vis, and the surge was very strong. We got carried over the reefs a few times. I will combine this report with last Sundays dive to the Redondo Barge on Kayaks. Vis on the barge was 10' at 81' so it was nice to have the lights to get the 3 bugs we landed. We got 8 bugs between our 3 divers on thur night. Bug season will be over soon, so we will try to get a few more bugs in the mean time. Sun on the artificial reef was nice, we found some very large blocks and concrete pilings adjacent to the Barge, all very nicely covered with pink Corynactis Anemone and just loaded with fish. We even found a large Swell Shark among the pilings. We saw large schools of Sand Bass, Blacksmith, and even a few Ling Cod. This is just the second time we have paddled out to the Redondo Artificial Reef and it is a very nice dive, we will be exploring more of the reef in future dives, stay wet
