I didn't really follow this post, but from what you have been asking, I think you might want to look at my site at
www.diver.net/seahunt It describes a lot of local diving and most of it was done solo. There are also coastal guides that can tell you
what is along the shore from San Diego to Mendocino. If you are considering going to the North Coast, you might want to look at
the detailed descriptions I posted about it.
