this morning on the way home from Nic i was wondering if there was any place in the bight where you could theoretically be standing on dry land and be directly above water that was 60ft+ deep. There is one place a litle over a mile west of the east end of SCI, below a rock face that gets 40ft, but not 60ft...

the first picture in this sequence was (so i think) taken inside the Isle of Sutil...in which case, that depth was acheived!


Other places include..Ribbon Rock Catalina, Parsons Landing (from the cliff), that place just below the isthmus..There must be more...
