diver Z summed up vet's pretty well, its a sand dive, and people either love it or hate it. I love it, but that's because I love macro photography. lots of interesting small critters. one advantage of vets though, is that its easy to get down to 100ft.

shaw's is a great night dive along a rocky wall.

malaga cove and malibu (leo carillo) can also be great night dives, but vis can also be very low. conditions are best in the summer & fall.

the issue with all of the local night dives in visibility and surge. check conditions for vets and malaga cove at divevets.com; malibu can be checked at 310-457-9701; shaw's cove at lagunaseasports.com
