Trying to hold that 20' Oxygen Deco Stop in typical surge conditions at depth is risking a possible catastrophic gas embolism event. I always bring and use a Scooter on the Rigs too, primarily to facilitate the surface swims in & out of the structure, from the live-boat drop-offs and returning back post-dive (giving the diveboat a greater stand-off distance from the Rig Structure upon picking me up). . .
