Storing live lobster |

In years past I have just put the little buggers in the fridge till i cooked them. Always like 12-15 hours after being caught I would cook them. I just cant remember if they died, it they were not good anymore. Cause I remember that some would live and others would die. Is the meat on them still good or not?
