Credit Fraud sucks! And I'm very sorry to hear of any victims. Especially my dear friend Kathy Kempton. These facts should come out soon.

1)The CCD site was the target (CCD.org), NOT the conservancy's site (catalinaconservancy.org)

2)Hammonds was NOT a CCD member, a volunteer or any association to the Conservancy.

3)Hammonds was NEVER our website designer or webmaster.

4)CCD and the divers involved are BOTH victims here.

5)Hammonds MAY have other victims from other non-profs he's accessed

As a member of the B.O.D. for CCD @ the time (2003/4/5)I assure you this was not one of US.

As a CCD member I feel bad about this, and responsible for what happens in the name of CCD. I'm putting together a release for Dale to print and hope this won't put a damper on any future activities conducted by the CCD. 2000 pounds of trash hauled out @ this years clean-up and around 460 divers participated, Thank You!!!
