Interesting. Since I'm not a fish/seafood eater/hunter my exposure to these things is all second hand.

It looks like a way to get some data. But, for those who don't even keep a dive log book - more writing than they are used to.

Too bad lobsters don't come with bar code strips. Then you could just peel them off and stick it on the card. You know - digital! Then, for the rest of the information....hum, a rubber stamp.
