So... if I am hunting for lobster at Main Beach in Laguna, do I use location code 38 (Dana Pt. to Laguna Beach) or location code 39 (Laguna Beach up to Newport Beach)?

Will DFG arrest me and take my lobster if I am at Main Beach and use code 38 when I was suppose to use code 39?
