 We just posted an update the other day and while we’d normally wait a bit longer, this one’s pretty special so we thought we’d get this out right away. (But there was no way we were posting this yesterday lest you think it was an elaborate April Fool’s joke.) We welcome our first Platinum level ($5000) sponsor: Michael Kane. As many of you know, Michael’s been a longtime supporter of the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber. In fact, this Challenge got started in 1998 with impetus and a large donation from Michael. Over the years, the Challenge has morphed into where it is today and we certainly couldn’t have done it without the initial push from Michael And so here he is pushing again. And although he’s not issuing his donation as a direct challenge, we do know that Michael feels passionately that funding for the Chamber is critical and would encourage you to do your part. If there’s someone else who can step up and match Michael’s $5000, that would be phenomenal. But we know that he knows that all donations are welcome. So join Michael Kane and other concerned and caring SoCal divers and make your donation. Who’s next??? Who will help push us closer to $30,000???
