If you compare the DC zippers to, say DUI, you will see that the
DC zippers are considerably beefier. I got 600 dives out of my
first DC suit (and it's still usable as a backup) and no zipper
replacement. My friends with DUIs are amazed.

One key item is to lube the "back" side. The big brass teeth are
just the runners for the slide. The real grip comes from the
little teeth on the back (take a look at one some time). By
lubing the little teeth, it slides a lot easier. Note: the
instructions on the Zip Tech tube say not to put it on the back
but it makes a big difference.
