Lots of sea life, and a couple of large sea lions that dive-bombed us throughout (what a week to have a large gray creature rushing at you out of the corner of your eye). For us the day was something of a Boston Whaler-fest -- at the Avalon we were visited by the PV Estates Police's Outrage 22, and later in the vicinity of the Hermosa Beach artificial reef we were joined a few dozen yards away by the Scuba Fever (a '70s Revenge?).
