How can an Open Boat "Smack" of desperation??? Where is the logic? Even the busiest, most popular/successful Boat operators my find themselves having an available day or 2 in a season where they have not been chartered by a Dive shop or Group. So does that automatically make them a non quality boat as DPV suggests especially if that boat operator would rather take a mash of people out for the day instead of taking it off himself?

And just for your own info DPV, Captain Richard and the Sea Bass is pretty well known in SoCal and utilized by SEVERAL Dive Shops as well as by groups including SoCal Tech Divers (and those guys are picky)

Wether you implied it or not, your post makes the appearance of being a blatent attack on the Sea Bass when all Capt Richard was doing was offering space on his boat to those who may want to dive this weekend...
