thanks Rick! yeah, there's definitely a season for nudibranchs at Catalina, april/may is when you get large numbers every year. you'll see some during the entire year, but not like the numbers you get now. They are not found everywhere, just certain spots deeper, like ship rock. let me know if you head out there this month and I can give you exact spots.
