Our group dived the Halibut hunt aboard the Sun Fish dive boat on Sat. at Santa Cruz Island. Had a great trip, we did not land any Halibut, but a few divers managed to get some bass filets for dinner. The boat runs a nice operation. Very clean, Captain Andy put us on some nice sand, and we did not go hungry. The weather was perfect, hot , Sunny with no wind. Water vis was from 15-30', temp 54-60 depth depending. Some photographers were on the boat as well. We hit three different spots, with plenty of surface interval, and with the boat being fast, were back by at the dock by 4pm.
