It has been years sense I made my way up from Orange County and dove Redondo Beach-Vets park. My wife and I were out scouting out alterate deep diving locations for future deep diving classes, etc. Back when I dove the canyon last I don't remember a monument being there. I did a google search for the 411 on the monument. Can someone fill me in on the who/when/why on the monument. I presume it is in memory of someone, I would love to tell the story to future classes when/if we take then to Redondo.
