Actually Chuck, according to PADI at least a 'dive' has to be to at least 35 feet and last for 15 minutes to be counted as a dive.
I know all about hull cleaning and underwater work. All I can say to someone is be careful what you wish for. Yeah it's hard work, it sucks.

Although, last time I was out there on a call I made $210 for about 5 minutes worth of work getting a big chain off one of the screws on a big 60 ft. yacht. Don't ask me how they scooped up a chain in the harbor but they did.
