Bye Bye Beast

Spent the day Sunday hauling and securing the 'the Beast' to shore. After seeing the net dangerously loose, closer to shore, and rolling in the entry/exit zone on Saturday, we decided it was time to use the (minus) incoming tide to our advantage on Sunday to coax 'the beast' to the beach.

Under the brave guidance of Salvage diver Greg C., the beast was hooked, rigged, and under our influence by 6:45 AM, slack tide, I love it when a plan comes together :-) Thank You Greg!!!

Over the next 7 hours we had 'fun' pulling in the slack on the rig lines, every time 'King Neptune' would send a big set, this rocky splash zone work isn't for every body, we did it safely. We passed the time between sets hacking off about 50 Lbs. of 'grey gold' from just the upper outside skin of this 15 foot long, 1 ton? nightmare.

Removal/recycle? is up in the air for now.
