I use the sport transmitter and the scout receiver. I have used it now for years and find it a great aid to always coming back to the boat, especially in low visibility and unfamiliar sites.

I mount the scout receiver to the side of my console.

The sport transmitter is much more powerful, and gives the set up more range. Also the 6 AAs last for many days of diving whereas the 9V in the scout transmitter needs to be replaced every few dives.
