These are some DIGITAL images that I shot today using a Canon SD870IS point and shoot in an underwater housing. It was difficult for me to pay attention to what I was doing because my mouth kept dropping open - an image to immediately review on an LCD was astonishing - actually, shocking. I set it in underwater mode and used the internal flash. The rest of the day was good old slide film. First I tried nudibranchs. This camera doesn't have an ultrasharp lens, but, the internal flash does fairly well with exposure. There were lots of anemones, eggs, sponges etc. to shoot.I only tried one fish, a swell shark that Ross found sleeping in a hole. OK, I did it. I shot a dive with digital. Has Ken inhaled nitrox yet?
