One thing about the Manta dives (I've done 2 with Jack's - both were excellent). The first half (20-30 minutes) of the dive is sitting on the bottom almost right under the boat and only in 35-40ft, then a quick cruise around where you can follow the DM. They give you lights. The viz is usually so good that you can see the lights on the boat from 40-50ft. As far as "night dives" go, the Manta dive is a pretty easy dive.
