Posted by scottfiji on July 09, 2008 at 13:26:07: I saw several of these puppies at "The garden" saturday at Anacapa (north side)... in 50-60ft of water, in the scattered kelp. sometimes alone, sometimes in groups of 2-3. 25-35ft of vis at anacapa, temps 59-61.
I also spotted this wolf eel on the Olympic wreck on sunday...during a nice dive with Ross and Jeff
and you gotta love finding a Metridium in 60ft of water...white point, Palos verdes
who knew nudies and shrimp were friends? x-mas tree cove, PV
more photos from my 7-dive weekend here: http://scottpenny.smugmug.com/gallery/5366171_gnPvJ#P-1-15 and I found 2 new nudibranchs at x-mas tree cove, which always makes for a great weekend: and some new fish species on the Olympic enjoy, |
