Rednondo Canyon Report |
Posted by Rick Coleman on July 13, 2008 at 18:45:00: After a little hiatus my wife Susie and I hit the Redondo canyon a couple of weeks back. This weekend we decided to take advantage of the nice conditions and go again – both yesterday and today. The conditions this weekend were very nice. On both days we arrived at about 8:30am. There was no swell or surf to speak of and just a slight wind chop. Yesterday the vis was very good at all depths and today it was very good also except for a murky thermalcline at about 70 feet deep. The water temp at depth was about 53 degrees. Here’s some of the pictures: Magic Carpet Ride: Tube Anemone: Sarcastic Fringehead: Kelp Crab: Snail Love: Big Mo: Kelp Hangout: A little sandy: Tangled up: Big Red: Unidentified...
