Thanks Marc for your suggestion and concern. We did our first night dive July 4th at Indian Rock in Emerald Bay. We belong to the Corsair Yacht Club so we had a mooring in front of the rock and with our new lights we just cruised around and were very comfortable. We had at least 6 people on the boat ready to assist if needed. It was pretty uneventful and not what we had anticipated. We thought it would be like diving in a tunnel and be very unnerving. It was actually quite tranquil. The vis was not so good...a lot of particulate in the water. There were tons of lobsters our walking around...all in all a good time.
