DiveNav is continuing to enhance its free eDiving service with the addition of a new dive site, Isthmus Reef, Catalina Island. A very popular dive site located near the west end of Catalina Island and within eye sight of Bird Rock, Isthmus Reef is famous for its shallow reef with steep walls in nearly all directions. The reef is quite abundant with life and is a popular site for housing lobsters in the various caves that exist in and around the walls. In addition to lobsters, you will find the usual Garibaldi, Sheephead and sometimes Leopard Sharks.

With the addition of this new dive site, you can now eDive:

* the Avalon Underwater Park, Catalina Island
* Bird Rock, Catalina Island
* Isthmus Reef, Catalina Island
* Vallecitos Point, La Jolla Shores.
* HMCS Yukon, San Diego.

In conjunction with the production launch of the eDiving™ service at the 2008 Long Beach Scuba Show, DiveNav is conducting a contest with prizes worth over $10,000 for divers, dive instructors, and dive retailers. Weekly and monthly prizes include BCDs, regulators, split fins, and various dive accessories from leading scuba manufacturers. The Grand Prize Winner will receive two OceanReef Full Face Masks with Underwater Communications.

Make sure to try out the free eDiving service before the eDiving Summer Contest ends on September 30, 2008 by going to http://www.ediving.us
