Very very nice report and pics. I'd say that constitutes one of the more exotic dive spots in California. Sounds colder than
a brass monkey in a Tahoe winter though.
One thing I have wondered though. Why do the scallops up there commonly have a white mantle instead of orange or green. I have
only seen that a couple times down here.
