You folks being in LA might not know it, but most places have seasons and they don't change
back and forth every week like around LA. It can be pretty dramatic.
I'm not sure, but I think the seasons just changed here from Spring to Summer.
The difference here is where the wind is. In Spring, the wind blows and never stops. Sometimes
like in the early morning, it's farther off shore, but it is blowing, mostly well in shore. In
summer, sometimes it stops and at least stays off shore a ways. Yesterday, there was a howling
wind that would pierce a jacket. Even I was getting uncomfortable in shorts and a tee shirt after
walking all around Black Point looking for an entry.
Today, the wind came up about 11, but by 1 it was starting to relax and move off shore. Whisps
of fog tried to come in, but just dissipated in the afternoon sun.
Maybe it will change back, but I suspect not. I think the seasons have changed... at least for
the next month or so that is this area has for Summer.
Oh, also unlike LA, there is a doe and her two bambi's walking below my deck.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
