Hi, Ship Rock dive site offers both easy diving on its shallow south east corner or more advanced and technical dives on its north and west sides. The site bathymetry is quite impressive and we took the liberty to name few of the most suggestive formations - like the "Northern Passage" (a canyon that lead down to a 250ft plateau just above the northern rim) or the "North West Point" (a ledge overlooking a 70ft drop). But, if You have a better name for those, feel free to drop us a note that we will promptly adjust them. With the addition of this new eDive site, you can now eDive: * Ship Rock, Catalina Island (new) Next week we will work on the eDive site of Shaw's Cove, Laguna Beach. In conjunction with the production launch of the eDiving™ service at the 2008 Long Beach Scuba Show, DiveNav is conducting a contest with prizes worth over $10,000 for divers, dive instructors, and dive retailers. Weekly and monthly prizes include BCDs, regulators, split fins, and various dive accessories from leading scuba manufacturers. The Grand Prize Winner will receive two OceanReef Full Face Masks with Underwater Communications. Check out our website www.ediving.us to see what previous winners have to say about the eDiving service.
