I agree and that's what I usually do. I think I would like to get some long fins and freedive this area. Pony and tank/bc in back tankwell, and the front with dive bag and gear. Too much trouble for another tank. 1/4 mile out to dive spot. I used to have a Scupper Pro but it couldn't handle the dive gear; it would have been great for freediving. Fish & Dive is a great yak for all of the gear. I only have a big round center hatch with dry bag, cell phone and jacket. I also carry a stiff bass rod and grubs for fishing the kelp. Tons of fish is the kelp. The wind often blows to the SW so you need to get there early or you face the wind coming back. Going N first is a good idea. Thanks for the info. B. Xavier
